The purpose of the CLUB shall be to aid in the general promotion and development of the various school sanctioned athletic activities engaged in by the students of North Royalton High School and Middle School.

2010-2011 NRAB MEMBERSHIP

We are kicking off the 2010-2011 North Royalton Athletic Booster membership drive! Your membership and volunteer hours contributed to the many outstanding achievements, both personal and team, our athletes had during the last school year. We hope to continue this success in the coming year and to do that we need everyone’s help again. We have attached three documents for your information. The first, is a letter from NRAB President, Brian Lebo. The second is the membership form for the new school year. Finally, the third document contains information for our first fundraiser, Gold Card Blitz Day! Remember, the NRAB is a group effort: if everyone pitches in, we can do great things for our kids and the community!

I hope everyone is looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable summer. In reflecting upon the past

school year, we have much for which to be thankful. Our coaches, teams, and players celebrated

many conference championships, and had success in tournament play. Our graduating seniors

provided leadership that has laid the foundation for future classes to share in the continued success of

our overall athletic program. Our community supported our school levy, which will enable our high

school and middle school sports programs to continue to thrive. As a school system and a

community, we can all take pride in our teams, and look forward to a bright athletic future.

Last year the North Royalton Athletic Boosters (NRAB) provided a near-record amount of funding.

We outfitted several teams in new uniforms and warm-ups, and continued to provide funds

specifically for the middle school athletes and teams. Additionally, we purchased thousands of

dollars in equipment and team achievement awards, and maintained our scholarship funding at

$8000, providing eight student-athletes with awards. We are hopeful to be able to surpass this level

of funding in the 2010-2011 school year, as we anticipate another productive year for the North

Royalton Athletic Boosters. We are in the process of finalizing our fundraising activity for the fall of

2010. With adequate support, the funds raised from these efforts will help to ensure that we meet our

commitments to our 2010-11 sports teams. The best part, of course, is that much of this new money

will be raised in the community. We will continue to seek the support of local businesses and

individuals, whose past donations and contributions have been very generous. This new money will

help to augment our own membership funding.

We need your continued support, and renewing your NRAB membership is a great start. As you

know, we offer memberships starting at only $25, and we encourage every family of our High

School and Middle School athletes to join Athletic Boosters. We would like to have 100%

membership among the families of our athletes. And while our organization needs memberships, we

also need volunteer time. If you have volunteered your time for past fundraising activity, I hope you

will continue. If you have not, please consider getting involved this year – attending our monthly

Booster Club meetings is a good start. The North Royalton Athletic Boosters are asking for only a

few hours of your time during the 2010-2011 school year.
