The weight room has been rearranged. The white wall will have a mural designed for it by the sophomores. NRAB can design a logo also. Parma school status is up in the air and is changing day to day. Brad will keep us up to date as he is informed. IF Parma schools are closed and merged, spring sports schedules may change and even fall schedules. There is a good article in Sports Illustrated discussing the situation that happened in the Columbus area when sports were eliminated in some of the schools down there.

NRAB poker – World Series of Poker is usually the week before, this may be moved to our week because they know we have enough volunteers to staff the World Series of Poker. This will probably be the last Nautica we will be able to do, because of the casino being opened. We need as many volunteers as possible – PLEASE SUPPORT OUR ATHLETES ! Stan will provide the list to John Vasil of members that said they would volunteer. Every Booster club member will be called to ask them to volunteer for the event. Each person will call 20 people – a script will be provided by Brian Lebo and Bill Thomas to make the phone calls, so that a common message is communicated. Brian and Bill will have a script by 2/8/10. We can wear our school colors at the event – we do not have to wear the Nautica poker shirts. Brian Lebo will contact Jeff Hill at NRMS regarding getting additional volunteers for this event.

Additional Topics that were discussed:
We should continue to be working together to raise money for all of the teams. NRAB has never refused any team any money.
Sports want to travel to other events (camps, tournaments) and they would like to use the money for this. Also, we have multi-sport athletes in varsity sports.
Jamie Leonard Coach Girls Basketball – Girls are doing well , Middle School 7th and 8th grade teams are undefeated and are doing extremely well this year. Just had 3rd,4th, 5th grade youth league who will be playing at ½ time in the game against Solon. The last varsity game is against Elyria in 2 weeks.
GFS – have applications – sign up and use the card and the money goes to NRAB anywhere in the country, family members can use it also. Does not cost anyone anything and GFS does all of the work.
