New Trustee position (s) – suggested by Elaine Gatins, have team liason(s) contact, establish a contact by sport for fundraising. Personal communication can go a long way.  Motion was passed to create the new position.  May be able to model after the car raffle organization of using team parent contacts. Elaine Gatins will present her ideas at the next Booster meeting. The responsibilities of this position will probably require more than one person.

Car Raffle – Band member’s grandmother won the car. Middle School student sold the most tickets.  Athletic boosters may have around $10,000, but  final breakdown will be presented at the next meeting.

Treasurer’s report – Mark Shaw  - treasurer’s report was distributed.

Finance Committee – Brian Lebo – $6500 uniform request  (60-60) warm ups for Swim Team. Football uniform request is $16000. Tops and bottoms of whites, purple pants are being used again (100 uniforms home and away).  More than one bid had been provided to the finance committee for both requests.  All Varsity uniforms are on a 4 year rotation.

Stadium Foundation Group – Ed Vitardi put together a group for a makeover of the stadium from football only to a multi purpose multi sport complex for use by everyone in the community. Larry Vassil is leading the committee the estimate is  3-3.5 million dollars for the renovation which would include new stands, new restrooms, new turfs, new track, new press box. Next fall we will see new visitors’ stands.  The estimate is 1.3 million for turf and track. Different groups have been included in the foundation group such as Southern Hills Football and the Band, etc. The goal is to get the entire city involved. There is a request of $600 to pay for filing fees, to get charter, EIN, and 503 c approved. The group is on a tight time frame therefore,  NRAB agreed to vote tonight and passed the $600 request. John Vasil has volunteered to take over web site and he sent out email to review the redesigned web site (very nice – great job John). We will still need input from coaches and parents for scores and pictures. We can sell sponsorships for the web site, which will be allow us to make profit on the site. The site will allow us to recognize athletes and  add Athletic hall of Fame. We  would like link from the main school site, it is difficult to find now. The expense if $550-$600 per year, but would be ale to offset this cost with sponsorships. We  can add online forms, paypal,  allow online booster sign up.  We have a 30 day free trial  until 3/28/10,  normally we wait until next month to vote, but we need to move domain name and there is  paperwork to be filled out.
