Meeting dates 2009/2010 – 7:00 pm Cafeteria Two - 8/5, 9/2, 10/07, 11/4, 12/7, 1/4, 2/1, 3/1, 4/12, 5/3, 6/7. December’s meeting started at 7:10 pm.

Athletic Director’s Report/Brad Klingbeil. www.ohsaa.org, www.nrab.net - NR HALL OF FAME – MUST BE OUT OF SCHOOL FOR FIVE YEARS – ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS UNTIL THE END OF JANUARY. FORMS ARE ON THE HIGH SCHOOL WEB SITE.
Swim Team – Brad needs invoice for pool time – girls won both meets. Weight Room is on schedule . The floor (black rubber floor with purple specs) will be installed on winter break, walls painted, equipment is ordered and the equipment will be installed during the break (CPD Fitness). CPD fitness will do scheduled maintenance. Money is there for the floor, we will need additional money for equipment. Boosters has committed Nautica Charity poker profits($13,000) for weight room. The 2 year plan is to replace worn out equipment first then purchase new equipment. Jamie Leonard Gilrs BB coach - Girls basketball – Varsity 2 and 0 Jamie Leonard – the team is working hard
Car Raffle – Serpentini has donated a car – have an ad in the winter sport program. Middle School has received tickets. Ticket Sales have been a little slow. Please encourage your children to sell tickets. This raffle is all profit for the groups selling the tickets. Collection night will be a week from Wednesday 12/13/09, and will continue. The winning ticket will be drawn at the last home Boys basketball game. All high school groups should have received their tickets.
Treasurer’s report –Education Foundation – We received a thank you letter for our 100.00 donation. The foundation awards grants for various education endeavors.
Finance Committee –.
Night at the Races – Elaine Gatins - approximately $7700 (282 paid tickets). We made an average of $28 per person. Thank you everyone for your assistance.
Nautica Charity – 3/25,3/26,3/27,3/28 – John Vasil – This may be our last Nautica and we need volunteers. Nautica forms will be on website and in newsletter.
Scoreboard – no report
82nd street Grille – Athlete of the month – Girl/Female – picture, what they did, and $25.00 gift certificate to the restaurant. Thank you 82nd street for all of your support!
Hockey – nine kids from NRHS on the team, 3 are captains. NRHS Hockey Media Guide was circulated. Hockey will have volunteers at the Nautica and will be selling car raffle tickets. Admission to the hockey games is free. Thank you for the support.
Membership – 332 members (last year 305) approaching $20,000. Membership approach needs to be evaluated – season passes, other enticements for the other sports. Stan’s term is up – would like to have new trustee on board earlier

Programs – no report
Advertising and newsletter – no report – send all Advertising and items for the news to
GFS Fundraiser – Sandi – once a year rebate – new program is called FUN FUND – no cost to Booster, form on website, receive a card for GFS, quarterly rebate for the Boosters, can be used out of site, will receive mail from GFS for coupons, etc. GFS will pre- print forms for us.
