Our goal is to provide uniforms and equipment to Bears teams in the MS and HS.
We ask that you become involved and support all of our student athletes.

Coach Updates– none
Athletic Director’s Report/Brad Klingbeil. www.ohsaa.org, www.nrab.net All Sports banquets forms were passed out. Banquet is on June 1st. All Letter winners are invited to attend, outstanding male/female are announced and athletic hall of fame inductees will be announced also. Sat NOC Tennis tournament at Medina. 12th NOC at track Buyers field. Baseball Tuesday drew winner of Midpark and Lincoln West – sectionals, districts would be next week. Spring awards banquet is May 25th. Brad displayed the swim jacket NR will be on the jacket and Bears on the back. The price came down to $5079, reduced from the original estimate of $6500. The swim team is getting 65 warm ups. The swim coach thanks everyone for their support.
Team Liason coordinator - New Trustee position (s) – Elaine Gatins/Kathy Modie (
440-582-5980) – There will be a team representative for each sport. Elaine will receive the emails and will then direct them to the appropriate team representatives. Voted and approved on new trustee positions.
Car Raffle– Chrissy/Duke Boberek – no report
Treasurer’s report– currently Mark Shaw - Brian Lebo will talk to Dale Freeman to confirm his interest in the trustee position.
Vice President– Jim Smith will continue as vice president.
Finance Committee - Swim team buys their swim suits so NRAB buys their warm-ups (uniform). NRAB buys the cheerleaders uniforms but not the warm-ups.
Night at the Races–Elaine Gatins November 20th save the date.
Nautica Charity – 3/25,3/26,3/27,3/28– John Vasil – final numbers approximately $39,500. New casino will be built in 2 to 3 years so we can still do the Nautica Charity. If we can we will join with the band to share the proceeds and the band will join us to help staffing and keep the proceeds within North Royalton.

Membership – 3 trustees temporarily - Nancy Craig
440-877- 0007. will be the high school coordinator and be the lead for one year. Brian Lebo received an email from Sandy Kelly NRMS to assist – role will be for 2 years. Gary Marousek will assist with membership also. There will be a large effort to coordinate with Elaine’s team, the AD and the treasurer, to track an solicit memberships. Brad has offered to help with soliciting new members from now through the end of the school year. The current membership form will need to be updated to add the parent volunteer/liason. The membership form goes out with each student packet and again with each athlete. We need a stronger presence at the NRMS and having Sandy and Gary will help with that. The other responsibility is picking up the mail – we have one key to the mailbox. NRAB needs another key to be obtained from the post office. Nancy Craig will contact Stan Altizer the previous membership trustee to obtain the information on that position. .

General discussions:
All trustee responsibilities include - attending meetings, participate in all hands on deck fund raising activities, perform necessary duties to transition new person to the trustee position, list roles, current responsibilities, and what they did that year. These trustee roles and responsibilities lists will be kept on the web site so that everyone will have access to them.
